Privacy Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2025
Valentra Lab ("Valentra," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you submit a sample, request a Certificate of Analysis, contact us through our website, or correspond with our analysts. This may include your name, email address, company affiliation, shipping details, and the contents of any messages you send. We also collect limited technical information automatically through our website, such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and pages viewed.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to process and analyze samples, generate and publish Certificates of Analysis, respond to inquiries, deliver requested services, improve our analytical workflows, prevent fraud, and comply with our legal obligations. We do not use your information for behavioral advertising.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate our business (for example, payment processors, shipping carriers, and IT vendors), with your explicit consent, or where required by law. Published Certificates of Analysis are publicly searchable by accession number or company name; do not submit information you do not wish to be associated with a public report.
Data Retention
We retain analytical records, COA data, and related correspondence for as long as necessary to support our services, satisfy regulatory and recordkeeping requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Personal contact information unrelated to a published report is retained only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing activities. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details on our Contact page. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, and destruction. These include encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging, and routine review of our security practices. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for professional and research audiences and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date below and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
